10 years internetworking – europe’s international cooperation
Launched in 1995, Euforic aims to be an open and highly valued information and communication resource for people and institutions engaged in international cooperation and development.
Drawing strength and inspiration from its members, it contributes to more informed, equitable and effective modes of international cooperation and development.

Euforic offers a European flavour on cooperation and development issues; its members and their partners contribute to poverty alleviation and sustainable human development worldwide.
Euforic is a not for profit cooperative, owned and guided by its members. These members are a richly diverse mix of NGOs, research institutes, educational institutions, networks, governments, and other interested groups.
who we work with
We work with two primary audiences: The first are people – often working for our members or their partners – who actually engage in international cooperation. These Euforic ‘consumers’ are primarily interested in information on international cooperation. We provide information and communication services targeted to their demands.
The second are ‘infomediaries’ – whose primary task is to mediate and improve the flow of information and knowledge on and in international cooperation. We work with our members in this ‘community of practice’ to enhance information exchange, communication and collaboration in international cooperation.
euforic shares information
We share and disseminate information on international cooperation policies and practices. Exploiting emerging Internet applications, we produce web-based information services, including alerts, country profiles, thematic dossiers, organisation directories, an email digest, an online repository, event listings, and search tools.
euforic brokers knowledge
We bring people together, facilitating dialogue, building links, identifying needs, and sharing ideas and information. We support online dialogue and knowledge sharing; we also organise face to face events and workshops to discuss issues, get trained, or learn from others.
euforic is a cooperative of practice
We facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing among a European ‘community’ of information, knowledge and communication experts working in development.
euforic provides advice
We assist members and others to more effectively capitalize on information management, knowledge sharing, and communication opportunities.

Depending on the type of membership and the size of your organisation, membership costs between EURO 300 and 3000 per year.
